imgtoexcel provides an online Optical Character Recognition (OCR) service that extracts tabular data from images (e.g., JPG, PNG, JPEG) and converts it into structured, editable spreadsheet files (e.g., .xlsx, .csv). The Service is designed to help automate data entry and digitize documents for your convenience.

2. Accounts

Many features are available without registration. Certain functionality—such as premium features or conversion history—may require an account. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials;

  • All activity that occurs under your account; and

  • Promptly notifying us of any unauthorized use or security breach.

We may refuse, suspend, or reclaim usernames where appropriate (e.g., impersonation, trademark concerns).

3. Your Content & Permissions

We respect your ownership and privacy.

  • Ownership: You retain all rights to files you upload (“User Content”). We do not claim ownership over your User Content.

  • License to Operate the Service: By uploading User Content, you grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, process, and modify that content solely to operate the Service and provide outputs to you (e.g., converted spreadsheets).

  • Automatic Deletion: User Content is processed and then deleted from our systems after a short operational period to protect your privacy (see our Privacy Policy for details). We do not use your files for model training or any purpose other than providing the Service.

  • Your Responsibility: You represent that you have the necessary rights or permissions to upload and process the User Content through the Service.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service lawfully and responsibly. You will not:

  • Upload or process content that is illegal, harmful, defamatory, or infringes intellectual property or privacy rights;

  • Interfere with, disrupt, or degrade the Service or our infrastructure, including bypassing security or rate limits;

  • Use automated means (scripts, scrapers, crawlers) in a manner that burdens or harms the Service;

  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code of the Service (except to the extent such restrictions are prohibited by law).

We may investigate and take action (including suspension or termination) for violations of this Section.

5. Payments (if applicable)

If you purchase paid features or subscriptions, you agree to pay the listed fees and applicable taxes. Payments are processed by third-party processors; we don’t store full card details. Unless otherwise stated, fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change prices or billing terms with reasonable notice for future billing cycles.

6. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” While we aim for high accuracy and reliability, imgtoexcel makes no warranties—express, implied, or statutory—regarding availability, accuracy, non-infringement, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from harmful components. You use the Service at your sole risk.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, imgtoexcel and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any:

  • Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages;

  • Lost profits, revenues, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses;
    arising out of or related to: (a) your use of or inability to use the Service; (b) unauthorized access to or use of our servers or information stored therein; or (c) any bugs, viruses, or harmful code transmitted by third parties.
    Where liability cannot be disclaimed, our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the greater of US$50 or the amounts paid by you to us for the Service in the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, liability will be limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.
